Sinoć je u Los Angelesu održana 81. ceremonija dodjele Zlatnog globusa, a najveći uspjeh je zabilježio film “Oppenheimer”. Ekipa serije “Succession” se također istakla.

“Poor Things” je pobijedio u kategoriji za najbolji film (mjuzikl ili komedija). Ovdje su se takmičili i “Barbie”, “American Fiction”, “The Holdovers”, “May December” i “Air.
Paul Giamatti je najbolji glumac u prethodno spomenutoj kategoriji. Ostvario je ulogu u filmu “The Holdovers). On se takmičio protiv Nicolasa Cagea (“Dream Scenario”), Timothéeja Chalameta (“Wonka”), Matta Damona (“Air”), Joaquina Phoenixa (“Beau Is Afraid”) i Jeffreyja Wrighta (“American Fiction”).
